Blythe Masters        

Founding Partner, Motive Partners; Former Chief Executive Officer at Digital Asset Holdings

Blythe Masters is a Founding Partner of Motive Partners, a fintech-focused private equity firm. At Motive, Masters sources and executes investment opportunities with a focus on strategy and growth for Motive portfolio companies. She also chairs Motive Ventures, the firm's early-stage investment vehicle.

For her extensive experience as a financial services and technology executive, Forbes named her to their "50 Over 50" list in 2023.

Prior to joining Motive, Masters was the former CEO of Digital Asset Holdings, the leading enterprise blockchain fintech company responsible for the Australian Securities Exchange’s ground-breaking post-trade infrastructure replacement project.

Previously, Blythe was a member of the Corporate and Investment Bank Operating Committee and firmwide Executive Committee at J.P. Morgan. Her J.P. Morgan career spanned 27 years, fulfilling several roles including head of global commodities, head of corporate and investment bank regulatory affairs, CFO of the investment bank, head of global credit portfolio and credit policy and strategy, and head of structured credit.

Masters is a board member of GCM Grosvenor and Forge Global as well as an Advisory Board member for the US Chamber of Digital Commerce; the blockchain fintech Figure Technologies; the enterprise quantum solution provider Sandbox AQ; and the private mortgage exchange Maxex. She is also Chair of Wilshire’s Digital Assets Advisory Group, supporting the development of industry standards for digital assets, and a member of P.R.I.M.E. Finance (the Hague-based Panel of Recognized International Market Experts in Finance). Masters previously served on the board of directors of Credit Suisse Group, including as chair of its Digital Transformation and Technology Committee, and as member of its Governance and Nominations Committee, Compensation Committee and Risk Committee.

Masters is a graduate and Senior Scholar of Trinity College, Cambridge where she received a B.A. in Economics.
