Bob Littell

Professional Networking

Bob Littell is the principal of Littell Consulting Services but he also carries the titles of Chief NetWeaver for “The Enrichment Company.” And although over the past 40+ years, Bob has worn a number of hats within financial services, his passion these days revolves around a word and concept he created called “NetWeaving” – a Golden Rule and Pay It Forward from a network which helps build trusted relationships and fosters creative ideation – both necessary ingredients for anyone to be or become more ‘referrable.’

Bob’s second book The Heart and Art of NetWeaving, picks up where his first book, Power NetWeaving, left off and covers many of the practical applications of NetWeaving skill sets – being a connector OF others, and a ‘no-strings-attached’ resource provider FOR others – building the reputation as the ‘go-to’ person – simply the belief that, what goes around comes back around.

Thanks to Xerox Global Services who prints The Heart and Art of NewWeaving, Bob donates 100% of the $20 per book sales price to non-profits and charities, including the “Pay It Forward Foundation,” created by Catherine Ryan Hyde, the author of the best-selling book on which the popular movie is based. Bob currently co-chairs the foundation’s steering committee and with the author’s permission, NetWeaving is known as the “Business version of Pay It Forward.”

The NewWeaving phenomenon has not only spread around the United States but after launching the NetWeaving International Community on Xing – Europe’s largest online community – the concept is now spreading around the world. A ‘google’ search on the word now shows tens of thousands of references.

According to Bob, the ‘heart’ of NewWeaving explains how those who not only ebmrase the three (3) skill sets, but who also become vocal advocates for the NewWeaving concept, are energized and how they also discover that their ambassadorship efforts elevate their image in the eyes of others.

The NewWeaving concept has ‘morphed’ over the past 9 years and has gone in directions Bob never could have forseen. From helping sales and marketing people create better relationships with existing clients and customers as well as a new business development tool, it has now spread to uses by Human Resource professionals, to Non-Profit organizations and Leadership groups; to the Education field – at pre-school and elementary school level teaching ‘socialization shills,’ as well as helping super-charge the launch of young College grad and MBA careers. Finally, several Cities or entire Regions have used the NewWeaving ‘theme’ as a way to bring together different sectors of a city or region to work together in a more collaborative environment.
