Award-Winning Animator & Director; Known for "Puss in Boots" and "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse"

Bob Persichetti is an animator and director. He is known for Puss in Boots" and "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse." He worked in animation since the late 1990s. Persichetti began his professional animation career in the animation department at Walt Disney Pictures, working on projects like "Hercules," "Mulan," and "Tarzan."

He started as an "in between artist" or a "rough inbetweener" before becoming a story artist on projects like "Shrek 2" and "Monsters vs. Aliens." He has also worked as a storyboard artist on "Flushed Away" and "The Curse of the Were-Rabbit." In 2011, Persichetti served as Head of Story for the film "Puss in Boots." He wrote the 2015 "The Little Prince" and served as the film's Head of Story.

Persichetti made his directorial debut with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which he co-directed Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman. The film received widespread critical acclaim, receiving numerous top prizes for animated feature film. It received the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film.
