Bob Tuschman
Veteran Television Executive
As SVP/GM of Food Network, Bob led the Food Network’s programming team for 18 years. His creative leadership helped turn Food Network from a little viewed niche channel into a Top Ten cable network, a billion dollar brand and an international media powerhouse, whose programming is now seen in more than 150 countries. He oversaw the development and launch of hundreds of television series, including such mass hits as Chopped, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Cutthroat Kitchen, Cupcake Wars, Food Network Star and Next Iron Chef His programming has collectively earned 119 Emmy nominations and taken home 31 Emmys. He discovered and developed such iconic stars as Rachael Ray, Giada De Laurentiis and Guy Fieri. Bob has been a familiar on-camera presence, having served as a judge and mentor for 11 seasons of Food Network Star, the network’s #1 rated series.
Prior to working at Food Network, Bob was a Producer for ABC News, filing stories from across the country and around the world for Good Morning America and primetime news hours. His acumen for spotting and developing talent was honed working as an agent for actors and directors in New York, early in his career. But it all started when he spent two years working as the personal assistant to Diana Ross.
Bob graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Public and International Affairs. He also completed the Program in Cable Executive Management at The Harvard Business School.
