Bobby Deen

Celebrity Chef, Restauranteur, Author & Television Personality; Known for Being Paula Deen's Son

Bobby Deen began his career as an American television chef and restaurant manager, co-managing The Lady & Sons restaurant in Savannah, Georgia alongside his brother, Jamie. His early career was marked by his collaboration with his family, such as his mother the famous chef and cookbook author, Paula Deen, which led to the creation of several television shows such as "Not My Mama's Meals," a Cooking Channel show where Deen recreated his mother's classic recipes with a healthier twist. He further showcased his culinary skills by hosting Food Network's cooking competition series, "Holiday Baking Championship" and "Spring Baking Championship," as well as co-hosting the Cooking Channel series "Junk Food Flip."

Deen's culinary expertise is also evident in his published works. He co-authored several books including "The Deen Bros. Cookbook - Recipes From the Road" (2007), "Y'all Come Eat" (2008), "Take it Easy" (2009), and "Get Fired Up" (2011). His first solo book, "From Mama's Table to Mine," not only highlights his cooking skills but also his ability to captivate readers, as it became a No. 1 New York Times Bestseller.

Outside of the kitchen, Deen has also explored other avenues. In 2017, he made his feature film debut in "In Search of Liberty." Furthermore, his charm and charisma were recognized by People magazine in 2006, when he was named one of the "50 Most Eligible Bachelors." These experiences, coupled with his culinary achievements, make Deen a versatile figure in the public eye.
