Bonnie Paul, Ph.D., is as Executive & Personal Coach, Transformational Leadership Educator, and Experiential Psychology Consultant, supporting people in learning and integrating a wide host of empowering psychological skills.

Paul has invested over 25 years of her career seeking ways to support herself and her clients in leading fulfilling mission-centered lives. She works as an executive coach and experiential psychology educator, coaching and teaching individuals and teams, including C-level executives, individuals of all backgrounds and ages, and – as a volunteer – leading and teaching educational programs for inmates in California state prisons.

She is an innovator in curriculum design, authoring and facilitating leading-edge programs in transformational leadership and emotional intelligence.

Paul is the co-founder of the award-winning nonprofit, The Freedom to Choose Project. For the past 13 years, she has co-developed and co-led large workshops teaching over 3,000 men & women in prison the skills to succeed when they are released, including skills for choosing responsibility, handling anger constructively, finding forgiveness and inner freedom.

With her husband, David Paul M.D., Ph.D., Paul coaches and teaches workshops on topics such as transformational leadership, emotional intelligence, healing professional burnout and compassion fatigue, and conscious relationship. They have been honored for their work in prisons, and their awards include a Service to Humanity Award and a Local Hero Award.

Previously, Paul served as graduate psychology faculty for 12 years. She started her working life in technology, and her industry experience ranges from systems design as a database designer to serving as General Manager for an electronic manufacturing corporation.
