BoomTown Saints, the dynamic country music duo of Chris Ramos and Ben Chism, combines Southern charm and eclectic musical influences to create a fresh sound in the genre. Chism, with his Mississippi drawl, brings warmth and authenticity to their vocals, while Ramos' diverse musical background adds a modern edge to their tracks. Their debut EP, released in June 2023 under 8 Track Entertainment, showcases their unique blend of influences, with the lead single "All Trucks Go to Heaven" receiving acclaim from Music Row's Bob Oermann and being featured on Taste of Country and CMT.com.
The duo’s current single, “Blacktop Don’t,” continues to draw attention with its infectious groove and lyrical depth, solidifying BoomTown Saints as one of country music’s most exciting new acts. Their chemistry was evident from their very first live performance together, where Ramos' high-energy stage presence and guitar work elevated the duo’s sound, making it clear that they were onto something special. Their shared passion for music and ability to connect with audiences have fueled their rapid rise.
Chism, originally from Southaven, Mississippi, didn’t initially aspire to a music career, but after winning over local fans with his performance of Kenny Chesney's "How Forever Feels," he decided to pursue music full-time, moving to Nashville. Meanwhile, Ramos grew up in Florida, absorbing a wide range of musical styles that now influence BoomTown Saints’ diverse sound. Their ability to blend R&B, classic rock, and country elements sets them apart from other acts in the industry.
BoomTown Saints’ EP was produced by Noah Gordon and Gary Kraen, featuring fan-favorites like "All Trucks Go to Heaven" in both its original and acoustic forms. Songs like "Dive Bar Heart" showcase their storytelling skills and attention to detail, while their collaborations with veteran writers further highlight their commitment to crafting memorable music. With a growing fanbase and a fresh, exciting sound, BoomTown Saints are carving out their place in country music.
