Børge Brende is the President of the World Economic Forum and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway (2013-2017). He previously served as Minister of the Environment from 2001 to 2004 and Minister of Trade and Industry from 2004 to 2005. He also was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from 1997 to 2009.
Brende has served as the President of the World Economic Forum since 2017.
