Partner, Eagle Capital

Boykin Curry is a partner at Eagle Capital, an investment firm based in New York. Previously, he invested in Asia and Russia for hedge fund Kingdon Capital and for Morgan Stanley Asset Management. Founded in 1988, Eagle Capital manages $9 billion for institutions and families. Eagle uses a research-intensive strategy to identify companies with short-term challenges but excellent long-term prospects. That approach has led to Eagle’s performance ranking in the top 1 percent of U.S. equity managers for 10 and 20 years.

Mr. Curry is a co-founder of Public Prep, a group of charter schools in New York City. He is also a board member of the American Federation for Children and a co-founder of Democrats for Education Reform, both of which fight for better primary education through competition and choice.

Mr. Curry is married to Celerie Kemble, a designer and author of “To Your Taste.” Together they are founders of Playa Grande, a retreat in the Dominican Republic. Mr. Curry graduated from Yale University with a degree in Economics and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
