Brad Pitt is an American actor and film producer who made his television debut on the NBC soap opera "Another World" in 1987. Pitt's breakthrough role came with the film "Thelma & Louise" in 1991 and he went on to star in acclaimed films such as "Ocean's Eleven," "Troy," "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," "World War Z," and "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." In 2001, Pitt co-founded the production company Plan B Entertainment and produced successful films like "The Departed," "12 Years a Slave," and "Moonlight," which have won the Academy Award for Best Picture. He has consistently been recognized for his work, making Forbes' annual Celebrity 100 list and the Time 100 list.

Pitt's acting career extends beyond film. He has made appearances on CBS sitcoms like "Trial and Error" and "Growing Pains," and he has also had roles on the Fox police drama "21 Jump Street" and the CBS primetime series "Dallas." Venturing into animation, Pitt voiced the character Sinbad in "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas" and also had a guest role on the popular television series "Friends." His work in television has garnered him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.

Outside of his acting and producing career, Pitt is known for his philanthropic efforts. He supports the One Campaign, an organization aimed at combating AIDS and poverty in the developing world, and has donated to various organizations in Chad and Sudan dedicated to those affected by the crisis in the Darfur region. Pitt is also one of the founders of Not On Our Watch, an organization that focuses global attention on stopping "mass atrocities". Brad Pitt ‘F1’ Movie Revs Up Promo Engines A Year Before Release With Teaser
Looking to lasso a potential Top Gun: Maverick at the box office in the next Joseph Kosinski directed movie, Apple and Warner Bros have dropped the first teaser to the Brad Pitt-starring F1 roughly a year before its June 25, 2025 offshore release (June 27 U.S./Canada). In the trailer, Pitt’s F1 driver tells his engineer, played by Kerry Condon, “We need to build our car for combat,” specifically a car that can beat the rivals on the corners, not the straights. Condon’s character responds, “How am I supposed to make that safe?”
