Actor in "Feel the Beat," Writer for "Big Mouth," Social Justice Advocate

Brandon Kyle Goodman stars in Netflix’s feature film "Feel the Beat," opposite Sofia Carson, and has gained recognition for his role as Andy in Amazon’s rom-com anthology series "Modern Love." Goodman's other acting credits include roles in the Amazon pilot "People Just Do Nothing," Fullscreen’s digital series "Alive in Denver," and independent features such as "The Blackout," "The Relationtrip," Hulu’s "Plus One," and Blue Fox’s "Papi Chulo" alongside Matt Bomer and Wendi McLendon-Covey.

In addition to his acting career, Goodman has made significant contributions to the writing team for seasons four and five of Netflix’s animated comedy series "Big Mouth," and he co-wrote and voiced the lead character in the series' spin-off "Human Resources." His writing prowess extends to creating and starring in "The Latrell Show," a virtual performance in partnership with the IAMA Theatre Company.

Originally from Queens, New York, Goodman studied at the Tisch School of Arts at New York University (NYU), where he joined the musical sketch comedy group "Political Subversities." After graduating from NYU, he relocated to Los Angeles to further his career in acting and writing. As an outspoken advocate for social justice, Goodman's Instagram videos about racism in America went viral during the summer of 2020, significantly boosting his role as a public speaker on issues of diversity and inclusion. Goodman is also a prominent nonbinary, queer Black leader, continually advocating for the Black and LGBTQ+ communities and supporting organizations like the Innocence Project and Black Lives Matter. His engagement extends to hosting podcasts "Black Folx" and "Do the Work," focusing on discussions about race and personal relationships.
