Advisory Consultant, Ernst & Young LLP, Overcame Paralysis

Brandon Lyons is an Advisory Consultant in the Advisory practice of Ernst & Young LLP. At Ernst & Young, Lyons has had the opportunity to work across the media and entertainment, technology, power and utilities, and healthcare industries gaining broad sector knowledge. Prior to joining EY, Lyons managed two departments at a retail distribution center and completed an eight month co-op with a global consumer products company in their supply planning and international supply chain departments.

Lyons suffered a spinal cord injury as a result of a diving accident. The accident left him paralyzed from the chest down with a less than one percent chance of walking again.

Lyons is determined to overcome the challenges of paralysis. He is passionate about supporting others on their road to recovery by sharing his experiences. Lyons completed the Marine Corps Marathon in October 2014 on a hand cycle, just five months post spinal cord surgery. Lyons aspires to be an advocate for people with disabilities, especially spinal cord injuries.
