Brandon Staglin  

President, One Mind

As President of One Mind, Brandon Staglin channels his experience in communications, advocacy, and personal schizophrenia recovery to drive brain health research programs to heal lives. He has originated One MindÂ’s ASPIRe initiative, to expand and improve early care for youth facing serious psychiatric illness to meaningfully enhance public health. As part of this work, Brandon has successfully advocated for the growth of data-driven networks of continuously improving prevention and early intervention programs. His advocacy has been instrumental in the passage of California laws AB 1315 and SB 1004, providing funding and structure for such services statewide. Brandon earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Interprofessional Leadership from UCSF in September 2018, and two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Dartmouth College in 1993. He has received numerous awards for his brain health advocacy, recently including the Lifetime Achievement VOICE Award from the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the Clifford W. Beers Award from Mental Health America.
