Bray Patrick-Lake

Bray Patrick-Lake is director of stakeholder engagement for the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative at Duke University and co-chair of the NIH Advisory Committee to the Director Working Group on the Precision Medicine Initiative. She supports efforts to actively engage participant partners in Duke research programs, as well as patient advocacy groups and other stakeholders in CTTI efforts to improve clinical trials. Patrick-Lake founded the PFO Research Foundation in response to lack of scientific information after being a patient in an aborted clinical trial. She has served as a patient representative at the FDA on various advisory committees and panels, in work groups for the NIH, as a guest lecturer and an external reviewer for the Institute of Medicine, and as patient stakeholder or co-investigator of AHRQ and PCORI grants. She is a member of the DIA Patient Fellowship Selection Committee and the TVT Registry Stakeholder Advisory Committee, among others, and is on the board of the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy.
