Brendan Hunt

Actor & Writer Best Known for "We're the Millers", "Horrible Bosses 2" and "Ted Lasso"

Brendan Hunt is an actor and writer who co-created the international smash hit TV comedy Ted Lasso, garnering an Emmy, a Peabody, a Writers Guild Award, and others in the process.

Brendan also appears on the show as Coach Beard. Other television and film appearances include Community, Parks and Recreation, Key and Peele and Horrible Bosses 2.

A Chicago native and a veteran of sketch and improv comedy, Brendan’s longest tenure with any group was with Amsterdam’s notorious Boom Chicago, where he performed with Jason Sudeikis, Seth Meyers, Jordan Peele, Amber Ruffin and many more. This was the time where he acquired an obsession with soccer that would prove life changing. He recounted that entire expat experience in his raucous solo show Five Years in Amsterdam, which he would go onto perform in three countries and multiple cities, including an appearance at the prestigious HBO US Comedy Arts Festival.

Hunt is also a playwright with two acclaimed LA runs under his belt, for Absolutely Filthy (in which he hula-hoops nearly non-stop for nearly two hours) and The Art Couple, which will finally have it's COVID-cancelled remount come to fruition at LA's Kirk Douglas Theater in summer of 2022.
