Brett Engle, PhD, LCSW is an expert in an evidence-based therapeutic approach to health behavior change called motivational interviewing(MI). This approach has numerous applications and empowers people to have meaningful conversations about serious health risk behaviors and goals while perserving and even strengthening relationships.

Dr. Engle is an Assistant Professor in a South Florida school of social work at a private unversity and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in a college of medicine. He has published over a dozen journal articles and book chapters. He has presented on motivational interviewing and other topics related to health behavior change over 75 times in the last 5 years.

Dr. Engle also specializes in group work. He teaches group leader skills and conducts team building seminars, trainings, and corporate retreats.

Brett Engle is also a stand up comic and has performed dozens of times. Most recently he had a guest spot at the Miami Improv with Jim Jeffries as the headliner.
