Brian Bjelde is vice president of Human Resources at SpaceX. In his role, he is responsible for supporting 6,000+ employees by fostering an environment where technology and innovation can thrive and overseeing Recruitment, Employee Relations, Training and Development, Compensation & Benefits, Diversity & Inclusion, Physical Security, and Environmental, Health & Safety.

Bjelde joined SpaceX in 2003 after working as an associate engineer in NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Since joining SpaceX, Bjelde has held a variety of roles including Avoinics Engineer, Mission Manager, Product Director for the Falcon 1 Launch Vehicle, and Senior Director of Product and Mission Management.

He has a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master's in Astronautical Engineering from the Univeristy of Southern California.
