Brian Miller        

Director of Legal and Public Affairs at the Center for Individual Rights

Brian Ken Miller is a lawyer, policy advocate, and writer​. His specializes in the United States' First Amendment​. He is the current Director of Legal and Public Affairs at the Center for Individual Rights​.

There, he helps advance free speech​ with a team of four attorneys who have brought six cases to the U.S. Supreme Court​. He has also won dozens of appellate cases.

Since his first year in law school, Miller has worked as a Research Assistant for Helen Alvare at George Mason Law​.

In addition, he is a Regular Opinion contributor for Forbes Magazine​ and he has written articles about the First Amendment​ for several other news publications, including National Review​, Intercollegiate Review, the Library of Law and Liberty, The Imaginative Conservative, and The Federalist Society​.

After receiving his GED and enrolled in his local community college, Pensacola State College​ in 2009. After earning his Associate's degree, he attended University of West Florida​ where he earned his Bachelor's degree in History​. Subsequently, he attended George Mason University​ and graduated with a J.D. in 2015.
