Brian O'Shea

Brian O'Shea is a counter-intelligence expert and risk mitigation expert who presents on how to detect and protect against corporate espionage, social hacking, and covert influence for private firms, non-profits, and individuals facing real and potential

Brian O’Shea has worked in the fields of intelligence, counter-intelligence, investigations, security, and risk management for over 20 years. Brian O’Shea’s presentation on detecting, assessing and countering surveillance is backed by experience from over 3,000 cases worldwide in which he personally and on behalf of others has detected and counter-surveillance from numerous hostile individuals and groups in order to allow himself and his clients to carry out their work in a safe and effective manner. He teaches not only how to spot surveillance and social hacking/manipulation attempts, but also how to appropriately conduct oneself once such surveillance has been detected in order to identify the individuals responsible and also how to thwart their future attempts at such activities. He presents this knowledge from both sides; having been the one surveilling and collecting intelligence and also as one who has helped thousands of Clients counter these activities. Through the eyes of a former “spy”, one can learn much from those who would do them or their organizations harm, and turn the tables in a manner that allows the student to become the teacher in the all too common game of espionage and detection.

Brian O’Shea has worked for two U.S. Military Special Forces Groups, several U.S. Government Intelligence Agencies, Private Corporate Intelligence Firms, and Adviser to several royal families in Jordan, Dubai, and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
