Brian White

Accomplished Actor, Model and Professional Dancer; Stock Broker; Former New England Patriots NFL Player; Philanthropist

As the son of a financial consultant mother and professional basketball player father -- legendary NBA Boston Celtic JoJo White -- Brian White knew early on that hard work, education, and a sense of purpose would pave his path to success.

Audiences may know White best as a rising actor with roles on CBS's CSI: Miami, FX's The Shield, and TNT's Men of a Certain Age. He has also commanded the big screen with memorable turns in Stomp the Yard, Cabin in the Woods, and Tyler Perry's Good Deeds and I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Today, he juggles many more roles, but his most satisfying is perhaps "role model."

While attending Dartmouth, White expertly balanced his studies with athletics, a skill that prepared him well for life after college. After a career-ending injury with the New England Patriots, he continued building his multi-hyphenate career by working as an investment broker and co-founding the Phunk Phenomenon Urban Dance Theater Company.

White now pays it forward through his commitment to giving young people the tools they need to pursue their dreams. His latest endeavor is as author of Black Carpenter and founder of the multi-platform youth development program of the same name designed to lay the groundwork for academic excellence and personal and professional success.

A true Renaissance man and inspirational campus speaker, White uplifts the next generation of high achievers with his hopeful, socially relevant messages on youth empowerment and cultural diversity and grounded lessons from his multi-faceted athletic and professional career.
