Brittany Hodak & Kim Kaupe
Founders of 'ZinePak, a magazine package that combines about 64-120 pages of original, custom-written content, with branded merchandise for any brand, artist, entertainment franchise, or athlete.
When Brittany Hodak and Kim Kaupe launched 'ZinePak, a New York-based entertainment company two-and-a-half years ago, they knew they had a lot to learn.
‘ZinePak was founded in 2011 by Brittany Hodak and Kim Kaupe, who met while working at a New York City ad agency.
The pair bonded over their love of marketing and branding, but felt there was a need in the marketplace for engaging pop-culture content that connected top brands and entertainers with their fans in a more memorable way.
With Brittany’s background in music and Kim’s in publishing, the two joined forces to create a new kind of company that combined everything they loved, and ‘ZinePak was born!
‘ZinePak quickly evolved from an idea into a multi-million dollar company with eight full-time employees and two-dozen freelancers, garnering acclaim from media outlets ranging from The Wall Street Journal to the Forbes and landing Brittany and Kim on Advertising Age’s 2013 40 Under 40 list along the way
But this is the shortlist. In addition to a multitude of honors and awards, these young entrepreneurs have already established partnerships with celebrities like Taylor Swift, KISS, Justin Bieber, and the Beach Boys to sell nearly two million 'ZinePaks, which are custom publications, in 18 countries.
