Brooklyn Tankard, better known as "Queen Brooklyn," is a mother, celebrity hairline owner, philanthropist and driven entrepreneur.

Brooklyn has made her mark in the beauty industry by producing innovative hair and fashion events including the launch of her successful hair line, Queen Brooklyn's Virgin Hair. This inspirational, God-fearing woman shares her story about her detour and road to destiny to show others that regardless of how dark your past has been, it doesn't dictate how bright your future can be. She will release her debut novel, "The Detour to Destiny" in 2014, which will further highlight her personal story of tragedy to triumph.

"I've learned to allow my past to be my teacher and a stepping stone to catapult me towards my future," Brooklyn says. A true community leader, Brooklyn has provided multiple scholarships to people living with cancer, hosts and supports charity functions and enjoys empowering women to embrace their true self-worth.

Brooklyn is a devoted and loving mother to her ten-year-old daughter, Diamond, the apple of her eye. Diamond is a gorgeous fashionista who loves fashion designs, dancing and modeling. She also loves being the center of attention and wants to be an entertainer when she grows up.
