Bruce Carlisle’s is currently CEO & founder of Conference Hound, a San Francisco-based seed stage company dedicated to global discovery of conferences and trade shows in the $263 billion (U.S) conference and trade show industry. He is also the leader of Digital Axle, a specialized digital marketing consultancy.

Bruce’s career spans a broad spectrum of disciplines including web publishing, digital marketing, advertising, PR, direct marketing, broadcast news and sports production, and for the last seventeen years, digital marketing and e-commerce.

Bruce Carlisle is a recognized leader in the field of digital marketing who has been published, interviewed or featured in Fortune, Red Herring, the Wall Street Journal, The Industry Standard, “CNN Business News”, BtoB Magazine and Advertising Age among other outlets. He was featured in a chapter of the recently published book by Cory Treffiletti, Internet Ad Pioneers: The Stories Of The Unsung People Behind The Birth And Growth Of The Internet Ad Industry (Volume 1).

In 1996, Bruce Carlisle co-founded and became President and CEO of SF Interactive, one of the nation’s pioneering interactive advertising agencies. Recognized in 2000 as “the fastest growing privately-held company in the San Francisco Bay Area” by The San Francisco Business Times. He also spent four years in the early nineties at Washington DC-based public affairs agency, Ogilvy, Adams & Rinehart (now Ogilvy PR.)
