Unleash the Power of Your Emotion to Create the Ultimate Business and Career Relationship
Today’s challenging business and career environment demands engaging and re-engaging stakeholder relationships at a higher and more meaningful level. This presentation provides a seven-step method for taking relationships to a higher, more valued level by creating advocates. When you create advocates, you are creating a win-win for all involved: 1.) you; 2) your career; 3.) your stakeholders; and 4.) your organization. When you make your stakeholders more successful, you and your organization become more successful. Here is what advocates do for you:
- They say great things about you when you are not around
- They proactively support your professional goals.
- They are direct sources for new business.
- They introduce you to important decision makers.
- They are influential in advancing your career
- They are sources of proprietary information
- They tell you the truth when you need it most.
This presentation, based on my book, Your Secret Weapon: Creating the Ultimate Business and Career Relationship, published August 2021 [Fulton Books], demonstrates how to achieve the ultimate emotional connection with individuals who are important to your business and career success. The content in this presentation is original and unique. To the best of my knowledge, no one is presenting these concepts.
Attendee Results:
-Create a critical mass of individuals who say great things about you when you are not around. -Produce emotional stakeholder connection by providing unmatched value your stakeholders deserve. -Produce advocates who are assets for achieving your business and career objectives. -Apply a seven-step process proven to transform business and career relationships to higher and more meaningful level. -Know the difference between “expressed needs” and “unexpressed wishes” of your important stakeholders.
“Achieving Success With Difficult People”
We all face the realities of having to work and communicate with a variety of challenging personalities. The more effective a person is in knowing how to reduce barriers with difficult people during face-to-face encounters, the more productive the work environment becomes. This session demonstrates how to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities in the work and social environment.
This presentation draws from my 30 years communications experience with professionals in three continents and my published book, "Success With Difficult People" [ByeCap Press], to demonstrate how professionals can learn to effectively communicate and to deal with challenging and difficult personalities. Having tested the communications and personality styles of more than 2,000 professionals in seven countries, I describe skills vital for communicating effectively face-to-face while improving relations with pressure sensitive and time-stressed individuals – in both the working and non-working environment. History has proven: Effective leaders know how to manage and motivate difficult people!. Through challenging questions that I ask the audience and with the use of PowerPoint visuals, this session is more workshop than lecture. Key communications points I make are reinforced with topical examples of how to apply this information in the real world in which we all work. This presentation contains the right blend of knowledge and humor to make this a meaningful learning and entertaining experience.
Attendee Results:
- Understand why people are difficult.
- Learn how to establish common ground to secure favorable responses from difficult people.
- Acquire skills to deal with four different personality types.
- Understand how to change the outcome, not the person.
- Acquire skills necessary to reduce barriers with difficult people while motivating these individuals to your point-of-view. In other words, getting those difficult people to do what you want them to do because doing so is in their and your best interests.
YOUR SECRET WEAPON: CREATING THE ULTIMATE BUSINESS AND CAREER RELATIONSHIP
Today's challenging business and career environments demand engaging and re-engaging stakeholder relationships at a higher and more meaningful level. This presentation provides a seven-step method for taking relationships to that higher, more productive level by creating advocates.
