TV Personality, Olympic Gold Medalist & Iconic Transgender Woman

Cailtlyn Jenner, born William Bruce Jenner, is a television personality, former olympic gold medalist and trans woman.

In the 1972 Summer Olympic Games, Jenner placed third in the Olympic trials and tenth at the Olympic Games. At the 1976 Summer Olympic Games, the athlete won a gold medal and set a new world record, scoring 8,634 points in the decathlon.

From the late 1970s to the early 2000s, Jenner worked on several television series and appeared in TV movies. Jenner has appeared on numerous game shows and TV reality series, most notably the E! reality series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," which premiered in 2007.

After announcing she was transgender in April 2015, Jenner made her first public appearance on July 15, 2015 at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, where she received the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage.

Since retiring from sports, Jenner has also become a popular motivational speaker, television sports commentator and author. She has written several books, including "Decathlon Challenge: Bruce Jenner's Story and Finding the Champion Within" and "The Secrets of My Life".

In late July 2015, "I Am Cait," Jenner's docuseries about her life as a transgender woman, premiered on E! The series ran for two seasons. That following September, Jenner made an appearance on the television series Transparent as herself. Jenner also served as the face for H&M Sport in 2016, which included a short film on her life.

She is involved in politics, specifically campaigning for transgender rights. She identifies with the Republican party. However, in 2018 she discussed her quiet lobbying of Washington lawyers to reverse Donald Trump's ban on transgender people in the military and put protections in place for those who wish to serve.

Caitlyn Jenner Signs With CAA To Spread Her Transformation Story

CAA has signed Caitlyn Jenner, who until recently was best known as the Kardashian clan patriarch and former gold medal decathlete Bruce Jenner. The agency will work with her to create a platform for her activism and efforts to bring awareness to the transgender community. CAA will rep Jenner for speaking engagements and its CAA Foundation will counsel her to find avenues that will best afford Jenner the opportunity to address LGBT issues.
