Actress, Model & Author of "The Body Book;" Best Known for "Bad Teacher" & "The Counselor"

At the age of 21, Cameron Diaz auditioned for a role in the movie "The Mask." With no previous acting experience, Cameron was cast as the female lead. She immediately signed up for acting lessons after getting the part. Over the next three years, she won parts in roles for low-budget, independent films, such as "The Last Supper," "She's The One" and "Feeling Minnesota." The actress reached mainstream success with her part in "My Best Friend's Wedding" and "There's Something About Mary."

She won critical acclaim for "Being John Malkovich," which also earned her Best Supporting Actress nominations at the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards and the BAFTA Awards.

Diaz has also starred in the adaptation of "Charlie's Angels" and its sequel. She also served as the voice to a lead character in "Shrek" and its sequels. She won nominations in 2001 for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes, the AFI Awards and the SAG Awards.

Cameron Diaz landed a modeling contract with the prestigious Elle agency at a very early age. After high school, she traveled to Japan to work. It was there that she met video director Carlo de la Torre who she later moved in with upon her return to America. Her modeling took her around the world for a few years, working for contracts with major companies.

Other high-profile credits include "Any Given Sunday," "Knight and Day," "The Holiday," "The Green Hornet" and "Bad Teacher." In 2013, Diaz was named the highest paid actress over 40 in Hollywood.
