Carissa Romerio is a CoFounder of Project for Education Research That Scales, a $6.4 million research center out of Stanford University focused on raising students' test scores and GPAs. Since Romero created PERTS with fellow Stanford grad Dave Paunesku in 2009, it has created and evaluated hundreds of thousands of scientifically-based mindset interventions that encourage academic achievement for students in schools, colleges and online learning environments.
