With over 19 years of experience, Carla Gentry has established herself in the industry by working with prominent Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Her portfolio includes brands like Discover Financial Services, J&J, Hershey, Kraft, Kellogg’s, SCJ, McNeil, and Firestone. Gentry has developed a unique skill set, which includes acting as a liaison between the IT department and the Executive staff. In this role, she interprets complicated databases, delineates business needs, and delivers intelligence that quantifies spending, profit, and trends. Embracing the title of a "data nerd," Gentry views knowledge as power and emphasizes its increasing recognition and value in companies today.

In 2011, Gentry founded her consultancy, Analytical-Solution, building on her two decades of industry experience. She served as the Senior Data Scientist from 2011-2024, and she was committed to demystifying data for her clients and equipping audiences with the necessary tools for efficient data analysis.

Gentry's academic journey began at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1993. During her time at the university, she worked in the Developmental Math Lab, assisting students across all levels of mathematics. Gentry graduated from UTC in 1998 with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Economics, a testament to her curiosity and passion for data analytics.
