Carla Hammond is the Founder and CEO of Be Time, a mobile meditation studio. For ten years, she worked for the non-profit sector in New York. Hammond has helped develop OneVoice, Columbia University’s Engaging Governments in Genocide Prevention, Qualitas of Life Foundation and Awake Youth Project.

Hammond first started meditating when she was fifteen years old. After realizing how much meditation positivly affected her life, and wanting to spread that calm resilience throughout the city, which is how the idea for Be Time was born.
