Award Winning, Author, Speaker, Trainer and Coach, Carlotta Taylor transcended from a victim in foster care, to a survivor, advocate, and sounding board for the foster care system. After many years of flinching due to child abuse, psychological abuse, sexual abuse and trauma, Taylor is now a sought-after speaker and author of her best-selling book “No More Flinching – 5 Steps to Overcoming Adversity” who declares a No More Flinching mindset everywhere she goes.

Taylor earned her Bachelors’ of Arts in Social Services, Masters in Science and Leadership from Belhaven University and speaking certifications and training with The John Maxwell Team. Taylor, also a Veteran, held a 15 year law enforcement career before being called to higher heights. Taylor brings unique perspective gained from her personal foster care experience coupled with her employment as a child protection detective and robbery homicide detective, working hand in hand with child advocacy centers, counselors, social workers, police officers, detectives and more. In other words, Taylor has lived in both worlds.
