Carmela Wallace is the mother of Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins. Juice WRLD was an American rapper, songwriter, and singer who tragically died from a drug overdose in 2019. Wallace has always played instrumental parts in his music career, and even after his death, she still tries to preserve his legacy.

Wallace founded Live Free 999, a foundation that offers support programs that provide preventative measures and positive avenues to address mental health challenges and substance dependency. Through financial grants and partnerships, Live Free 999 bolsters organizations providing positive mental health treatments and alternatives to drug use. Beyond providing financial support, Live Free 999 wants to continue the conversation around mental health and addiction.
