She is an author, founder, engineer, certified digital forensic practitioner, agile adherent, sustainability expert, and PhD student in Technology and Social Change at Clark University. In 2017, Stimmel released her fourth book, "Evolving Innovation Ecosystems," a bioempathetic view on open innovation ecosystems for future tech development.

With the experience of both coding and leadership positions, Carol applies her breadth of skills to sustainability and advanced technology projects with companies, individuals, and investors who are placing significant dollars and effort to create a more inclusive and clean economy. Deeply optimistic, she believes that we can create positive change -- given the right insight -- that improves our capabilities for sound investment in a sustainable future. She enjoys attempting to predict the future, but is best known for her major contributions to helping innovators understand trends, opportunities, and challenges so they may move forward efficiently and with resilience.
