Carol Tomé is the Chief Executive Officer of the United States Parcel Service (UPS). She has served in this role since June 2020. She also narrowly avoided a labor strike by brokering a contract that gave UPS workers higher wages and improved working conditions.

In the first quarter of 2023, prior to union negotiations, the package delivery company's revenue crossed $100 billion for the first time since its founding.

From 1995 to 2019, Tomé served as the Chief Finance Officer for Home Depot. There she ran the real estate and strategic business-development units. She provided leadership in the areas of real estate, store construction, financial services, strategic business development and growth initiatives. Her corporate finance duties included financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, financial operations, divisional finance, internal audit, investor relations, treasury and tax.

A native of Jackson, Wyoming, Carol holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Wyoming and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Denver.
