Caroline Craven

Health Journalist & Blogger Living With Multiple Sclerosis

Caroline Craven is a freelance health journalist who has published over 100 research-based articles online. Shortly after Craven was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, she was included in a three-year double-blind study at USC for a T-cell vaccine. While participating in this study, Craven could not take any disease-modifying treatment, so she turned to natural treatments and remedies and became a certified life coach and a holistic nutrition educator.

Once the study had concluded, Craven discovered she was on the placebo, yet she was doing better than most and was better than when she was first diagnosed. She was told by her diagnosing neurologist that she should be "a poster child for MS" for the way she had taken control and found ways to manage her symptoms. This led to the creation of her blog, GirlWIthMS, where she provides helpful information on how to live better with MS, including personal experiences, research-based articles, life hacks, recipes, and resources.
