McCarthy is a consultant working with tech start-ups (and big companies that want to act like them) on marketing, branding, and editorial strategy. Previously, she worked as a marketer at Google and as a journalist and TV commentator for CNET. Caroline is vice chair of the Board of Directors at NYC tech nonprofit MOUSE.
