International survivor-speaker, author and messenger of hope and safety from domestic violence and abusive relationships

Carolyn S. Hennecy - Survivor, advocate, author and international speaker. Carolyn's story, featured as the opening segment on the ABC Action News annual prime time special, "Taking Action Against Domestic Violence," was nominated for an Emmy award.

In 2014 Carolyn was invited as keynote speaker at the International Womans Day event hosted by the Association of Female Executives of Trinidad & Tobago. She spoke to heads of state, high school girls, and executives.

Carolyn was selected as 1 in 5 women across the United States to represent Verizon as a VOICES spokesperson at the Family Justice Alliance International Conference, where she participated as part of a group in a round table discussion on the topic, "Long Term Support."

Hennecy has also been a spokesperson for the American Heart Association. She has appeared on multiple local, national and international television programs, radio interviews and journalistic reports.
