Carrie Locklyn comes from a vast entertainment background. She has been a professional stand up and improv comic, a commercial dancer and a TV host. What she loves doing the most, is being a home-maker. A person of the heart and home, Carrie represents high energy, warmth and joy. Presently, Carrie can be seen as part of the design team on HGTV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition as well as the lead designer on Travel Channel’s Hotel Impossible.

Locklyn is known for her design, organization & lifestyle expertise. Her transitional style, influenced by her travels, mixes classic lines with earthy undertones, creating spaces that are timeless, functional and ready to “live in.” Locklyn’s knack for home design and project management began when she started to organize friends’ homes as a job on the side. Word of her skills spread and Locklyn was coined the “Get It Done Girl,”. By 2011 she had a full-time business – GIDGLiving: a boutique interior design, home organizing and certified staging company. GIDGLiving helps homeowners and local businesses revive and update their spaces through accessible designs and practical organization.

Family and community come first for the New Jersey native – as a mother, wife, and business owner, Locklyn understands the unique work/life balance that is needed in today's world. Helping others has always been a part of Locklyn’s life, she finds joy in sharing stories & knows the positive impact that changing someone’s sanctuary can have on the human spirit.
