Founder of Bold TV, Senior Policy Analyst, Credentialed Journalist

Carrie Sheffield is the founder of "Bold TV," a digital TV network, and a senior policy analyst at the Independent Women's Forum. She is also known for her roles as a columnist and broadcaster based in Washington, D.C.

Sheffield launched her journalism career in Washington, D.C. with the late columnist Robert Novak, after which she covered Congress for "The Hill" newspaper and was a founding reporter at "POLITICO." She later contributed editorials for "The Washington Times" under the late Tony Blankley. As a credentialed journalist, Sheffield has served as a White House correspondent for JustTheNews.com, where she reported on economic policy, the 2020 COVID crisis response, and presidential elections. Additionally, she has covered significant international events including the 25th anniversary of perestroika in Moscow, North-South Korean relations from Seoul, the Beijing Olympics, and Egyptian political reforms from Cairo.

In the media realm, Sheffield has appeared on several prominent news outlets including MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, ABC's "Good Morning America", and HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher". She previously hosted an online TV show for "The Washington Times," and has written for multiple high-profile publications such as "The Wall Street Journal," "TIME," "USA Today," "The New York Times," "The Washington Post," and more.

Beyond her professional contributions, Sheffield's academic background includes earning a master’s degree in public policy with a concentration in business policy from Harvard University, and a B.A. in communications from Brigham Young University. She is a Fulbright fellow, having completed her fellowship in Berlin. Her personal achievements include overcoming extreme poverty, abuse, and religious challenges to achieve her educational and professional goals. Sheffield is an avid runner, a three-time winner of the National Press Club 5K race among female members, and has completed the Marine Corps Marathon. She is also a world traveler, having visited every continent, including Antarctica, before turning 30.

Sheffield's commitment to community and policy is further evidenced by her roles in various organizations. She is a member of the Harvard Christian Alumni Society, The National Press Club, The Manhattan Institute for Policy Research Young Leaders Circle, and an advisory board member of the Robert Novak Journalism Fellowship Program. Her leadership and impactful contributions to media and public discourse have been recognized with awards such as the William F. Buckley Awards by America's Future Foundation.
