Technology entrepreneur based in Chicago. As CTO of SiNode Systems, I lead development of advanced anode materials for Li-ion batteries.

PhD research focused on developing novel battery materials, including anodes, cathodes, and electrolytes in the Li-ion battery space. At Northwestern, I established expertise in the R&D of battery technologies, including development of flexible, high-energy composite materials.

Prior to my PhD research, I gained experience in a variety of industries, including: lubricants, computational chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and clean tech. In my clean tech experience, I developed an environmentally friendly and cost-effective ‘cover gas agent’ for a magnesium foundry, with expected $200K annual savings. My research interests include electrical energy storage, solar energy, nanotechnology, clean tech, and heterogeneous catalysis.
