Catherine McCord is the founder of Weelicious, a website which provides a solution to parents' hectic lives by showing them how to cook recipes that are kid-friendly, quick, and nutritious. It makes cooking accessible by using few, but fresh ingredients.

As a model, McCord appeared on numerous magazine covers, in the Victoria's Secret catalog, and on runways for countless world-renowned designers. While traveling the world she cultivated an obsession with learning about local cuisines.

Catherine segued from modeling to television and film, before deciding to pursue her lifelong dream and attend school at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. After her son, Kenya, was born she created to help parents like herself cook seasonal recipes that were kid friendly, fast, simple and nutritious. Taking her inner 'mom-ologue' from the web to the page, Catherine's book, Weelicious: One Family. One Meal launched September 2012. Starting out as an inspirational feeding guide, Catherine cleverly weaves together first-hand experiences with factual evidence, then naturally progresses into 150 of her own can-do recipes. Weelicious: One Family. One Meal. not only offers realistic solutions to the daily challenge of feeding children, but also offers ways to inspire kids to be great eaters.
