César Conde is Chairman of NBCUniversal News Group, with oversight of NBC News, MSNBC, and CNBC. Previous roles at NBCUniversal include chairman of its International Group and Telemundo Enterprises and executive vice president overseeing international and digital enterprises. Prior to this, Conde was president of Univision Networks and served in several senior executive capacities there. 

In 2020 shortly after arriving at the News Group, Conde established a bold initiative to build trust with its widely diverse audiences by increasing diversity among team members by gender, race, geography, socio-economic background and perspective. Central to that initiative is the award-winning NBCU Academy, a multiplatform journalism training program for four-year university and community college students, which partners with 45 academic institutions serving traditionally underrepresented communities. Conde holds a B.A. with honors from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
