Chandra Ram is the Editor of Plate Magazine. She has over 15 years of experience in the food service industry as a cook and consulting chef, and now she primarily works in food writing and editing. She is a member of James Beard Foundation Award judging committee and is also the board president of Meals on Wheels Chicago.

Ram holds a degree from The Culinary Institute of America and a sommelier certificate, and she has also been educated in the field of journalism.
