Chantel Houston is a Senior Video Producer at BuzzFeed Motion Pictures. Chantel started as an intern and quickly worked her way up to being a Senior Producer through her innovative methods of storytelling (both scripted and unscripted), exceptional technical skill, and ability to creatively lead varying initiatives. Through all her work behind and in front of the camera, Chantel seeks to give voices to and empower women of all ages. Behind the camera, Chantel founded Top Knot, BuzzFeed’s leading style and beauty Facebook page (over 4.3 million likes), is a leading producing force behind BuzzFeed’s ongoing NBC Olympics snapchat partnership, and has produced, directed, and written countless viral videos that have garnered millions of views, (including “Women Get Their Ideal Body Part,” “Women Wear Hijabs For A Day,” and “33 Thoughts Every Woman Has In Target.”) In front of the camera, Chantel is a founding member of BuzzFeed’s successful unscripted show Ladylike, where she appears in the series, creates content, and serves as a leading creative force. Before BuzzFeed, Chantel studied and honed her craft at Chapman University, studying television and film production. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
