Mr. Chao Teng-Hsiung is Chairman of Farglory Group, Taiwan’s largest real estate conglomerate with diverse business interests. Mr. Chao was born into poverty on the western coast of Taiwan in 1944 and started his own business with a small loan. Today, Farglory’s interests include real estate development, construction, insurance and finance, air cargo logistics, recreation and hospitality, sports complexes and business centers, healthcare, as well as charity work and various overseas investments.

Mr. Chao is well- known as “the king of mega townships and high-tech industrial park developments” in Taiwan. In recent years, he has pioneered the concept of the “Next Generation Home”, which integrates intelligent features and green technologies in township developments in Taipei’s Shansia and Linkou districts, just to name a few.

Mr. Chao rose to prominence and amassed a lifetime of achievement from humble beginnings. His success is based on the core philosophy of always “Attending to the Customer’s needs” and he has made this belief central to Farglory’s culture for its operations and employees.
