Actress Known for "Bridgerton;" Anti-Colorism Activist & Wellness Coach

Charithra Chandran, a British actress of Asian and specifically Indian Tamil descent, is known for her roles in the Amazon spy thriller series "Alex Rider" and the Netflix period drama "Bridgerton." She has also lent her voice to the courtesan Camille for BBC Radio 3 in an audio adaptation of Pam Gems' stage play, "Camille." Chandran has upcoming roles in the young adult romantic comedy How to Date Billy Walsh for Prime Video and her leading role as an associate producer in the drama series "Song of the Sun God," based on the novel of the same name by Shankari Chandran.

Chandran earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, politics, and economics from the prestigious New College, Oxford. This academic background, combined with her acting experience, makes her well-versed in a variety of topics, from social issues to global politics. Prior to her university education, she attended Moreton Hall School and Oxford High School in England. Over the years, Chandran has been recognized for her remarkable achievements, including a nomination for the Rising Star award at the Glamour Awards in 2022.
