Walter Charles Dance OBE is an English actor. Some of his highest-profile roles are Tywin Lannister in HBO's "Game of Thrones", Karellen in Syfy's "Childhood's End," Guy Perron in "The Jewel in the Crown," Sardo Numspa in "The Golden Child," Alastair Denniston in "The Imitation Game," and William Randolph Hearst in David Fincher's "Mank". He also appeared in "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" and portrayed Lord Mountbatten in the third and fourth seasons of "The Crown", for which he earned an Emmy Award Nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.
