Former NBA Basketball Player

Charles Oakley is a former professional basketball player who played most of his 19 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the New York Knicks. As a power forward, he consistently ranked as one of the best rebounders and defensive players in the NBA. He also played for the Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, and Houston Rockets. Since 2017, he has been the coach of the Killer 3's of the BIG3.

Oakley is 18th all-time in NBA games played and 21st all-time in rebounds. During his 10 years in New York, the Knicks made the playoffs every year. He became a fan favorite for his rugged style of play, determination, and love of his team and city. In the 1994 season with the Knicks, he started every single regular season and playoff game for an NBA record 107 starts in a single season. Oakley was named to the NBA All-Star Game and the NBA All-Defensive First Team that same year. He was also named to the NBA All-Rookie Team in 1986 and the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 1998.

Oakley competed in season 29 of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."
