Owner of Ryan Scott 2 Go Catering, Host of "Food Rush" & Author of the "One to Five" Cookbook

Ryan Scott’s vibrant personality and infectious smile burst onto the national culinary scene in 2007, with Bravo TV’s Top Chef, where he is now a frequent guest. He followed suit by winning a top chef challenge, where he was recognized as a fan favorite out of the VIP contestants and became the brand ambassador for Healthy Choice.

Today, Scott is the chef/proprietor of his 11-year old-catering company Ryan Scott 2 Go, in San Francisco Bay Area. He is the owner of one restaurant located in the Castro District. With over 150 regular guest appearances on NBC’s Today Show, Scott also has appeared over 40 times on the Rachael Ray Show. Ryan frequently appears as a special guest on Paramount Network TV’s Bar Rescue teaching bar owners and chefs amazing food tips and recipes that are crowd-pleasing dishes.

Ryan is a two time Emmy Award-winning host for Food Rush on ABC’s Live Well Network and currently hosts the nationally syndicated "Ryan Scott Show" on KGO 810 in his spare time for over six years. In addition, you’ll find him on the Home Shopping Network as one of their top producers and ambassadors.

In October 2016, Scott published his first cookbook, “ONE TO FIVE: One Shortcut Recipe Transformed into Five Easy Dishes”, with the forward being written by his good friend Rachael Ray. The book is centered upon one recipes transformed into five easy dishes. The book is already on its second print selling over 40,000 copies. Ryan has signed a deal for his second book coming in 2019 focused all around easy home baking with maybe a couple of guest appearances from celebrity friends.

When Scott is not directing one of his many kitchens, on or off television, he enjoys spending time with his wife Lesley, his new daughter Olive, and his two dogs, Pumpkin and Teddy, as well as contributing his time in various Bay Area charitable events and organizations including Glide Memorial and the LGBTQ community.

Where Ryan has not skipped a beat is his TV appearances, in 2017 alone he appeared on NBC’s Today Show over 24 times. This year alone Ryan will appear outside TV, beyond what is stated here, 2 dozen appearances, from KTVU, Home & Family, The Pickler & Ben Show, and much more. On top of TV appearances, Ryan loves doing personal appearances, cooking demos and hosting private classes and dinners.
