As one of the worlds top gymnasts, Chellsie Memmel was part of the silver medal-winning team at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Chellsie emerged as one of Americas brightest talents in 2003 when she was named to the Pan American Games team and won five medals, including team and all-around gold. At the 2005 World Championships, she became the first U.S. woman to win the All-Around gold medal since 1994.

Chellsie is the oldest of three daughters to Andy and Jeanelle Memmel, both of whom were All-American gymnasts. Her parents own M&M Gymnastics where she trains and is coached by her father.

Chellsie was a member of the 2008 Olympic Gymnastics Team in Beijing, China. She fought through a severe injury to help the team win a silver medal. Following the 2008 Olympics she took time off from her gymnastics career to concentrate on coaching. In 2011 Chellsie announced she will begin training with the intent of making the 2012 Olympic team. She competed for the first time since the 2008 Beijing Olympics at the 2011 CoverGirl Classic where she won the all-around Silver medal.

Chellsie proved she is well on her way to claiming her spot as one of the top female gymnasts in the world with a phenomenal performance at the 2011 Visa U.S. National Championships. As a result, she was named to the 2011 U.S. National Team.
