Writer, Jon Stewart's New HBO Project; Second City Mainstage Alumn

Chelsea is currently in NYC writing on Jon Stewart’s new HBO show. She is an alum of the Second City Mainstage where she wrote and performed: Fool Me Twice, Deja Vu and the Jeff-Nominated revues, Panic on Cloud 9 and Depraved New World.

She is a member of the sketch group, It’s Megan, whose pilot was featured at last year’s New York Television Festival. Her sketch videos have been featured on the Huffington Post and the front page of Funny or Die. She co-created and wrote the hit web series, Modern Women on The Second City Network, as well as the pilot, Stupid Bitch Syndrome, which was a finalist at The 2013 New York Television Festival. She toured with The Second City’s RedCo, Improvised with The Second City’s Improv Allstars, and once performed on a goddamn cruise-ship for four months. She performs as a Bio-Queen (Cis-gendered female Drag Queen) named Dix Pictoria at Berlin Nightclub and was the winner of Cycle 4’s Crash Landing Drag Queen competition in Chicago.

She studied at The Upright Citizens Brigade, i.O., The Annoyance, and The Comedy Studies Program through Columbia College. She received an International Baccalaureate degree from The United World College where she focused on International Relations. After that she somehow went on to study dramatic acting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and she now spends her time regretting taking out thousands of dollars in loans. She grew up all over the Southwest, but has called New Mexico home for the past ten years.
